The major types of producing compost
The primary ways of producing compost in both domestic and industrial range are: Open air composting, direct composting, commercial composting, vermicomposting and Mechanical composting.
The open-air composting involves dumping of all the waste materials in an open land or open area and is left to decompose on its own. Of all the ways, you will now be obvious that this is the slowest one. The direct composting method is done like the first one, but the spot where the process happens differs. We need to dig a hole or a trench to dump the waste and initiate the composting process.
Vermicomposting happens with the help of worms and is one of the well-known processes for us.
